Great Hearts Day
We will be celebrating Friendship on Thursday, the 14th. We will have an assembly, a seminar with a kindergarten class, and also will dedicate some time in the classroom for activities about this core virtue. I look forward to celebrating!

Language Arts
We will begin The Little Prince this week. There will be a spelling test on Friday. Writing and grammar will focus on preparing an informational essay from brainstorming to publishing. We will read the content material Monday, and then complete the whole writing process on Tuesday.
Math
We will continue working with time this week and take a quiz Tuesday.
Science
Students will continue learning about light and color and will fill in their study guide. There will be an assessment on Friday.
History
We will continue our Earliest Americans unit. We will learn about the Apache and Cherokee people. We will begin to learn about the Iroquois and Mahican people as well.
