Language Arts
Spelling will be normal next week with a test Friday. We will continue Little House on the Prairie too. For grammar and writing we will be working on paragraphs, letters, narration and diagramming. Students should be memorizing For Want of a Nail and it is due on Wednesday since it is so short.
Math

Science
This week, students will learn about the lunar cycle. They will be able to explain waxing vs. waning, and understand why there are moon phases. They will come home with a study guide on Friday. There will be a quiz next week.
History
We will learn about the Dutch settlers in New York this week! We will also learn about William Penn and Pennsylvania.
