Quarter 4 Week 5

Language Arts

We pick up spelling again this week. Since there is no school Friday, we will not test. This should allow them to ease back into spelling with less pressure to perform. We will continue Little House on the Prairie and work on a craft project related to the text. We will pick up writing again too and spend time on grammar concepts.




Math

Science

This week, students will work in groups to present a skit to their classmates. Students should be studying for their Solar system assessment which is on Thursday.




History



We will learn about the Pilgrims coming to America! We will learn about and discuss the Mayflower Compact. We will finish the week learning about the Massachusetts Bay Colony.
